Shop and bakery selling locally produced artisan foods and also local craft and artwork.

Blackthorn and Willow in the lovely village of Glenarm sells locally produced artisan foods and has its own micro-bakery (a range of loaves - sourdough and yeasted - is baked here on the premises every Saturday). It is a good place to stop and relax with a pot of tea or coffee and cake. Furthermore, it keeps a unique selection of items for the kitchen and home made by local craftsmen and women as well original artwork, prints, cards and new and second-hand books.

At Blackthorn and Willow, in the centre of the historic village of Glenarm, we keep a range of locally produced foods: jams and honey; chutneys, oils and vinegars; cake and biscuits; teas, coffee and fruit juice and we stock Glenarm organic salmon smoked at the North Coast Smokehouse and cheeses from the Sperrin mountains.  In addition, we have our own micro-bakery here: every Saturday we sell our ‘Blackthorn Breads’ range of sourdough and yeasted loaves.

Furthermore, we stock a selection of beautiful and functional locally produced goods.  We have jugs, mugs, bowls and jars from local potters; beautiful glassware; willow baskets; bread and cheese boards; aprons, napkins and tea towels, and a selection of prints and original work by local artists.  We also stock an interesting range of new books (we are particularly delighted to be the main stockist in Ireland of Persephone Books), second-hand books and handmade notebooks and sketchbooks.

After browsing the shop, you might like to spend some time relaxing here with a cup of tea or coffee.  We serve freshly ground coffee and a selection of teas, fruit juice, toasted artisan breads and locally made cakes.

Finally, once a month we host a supper club evening serving vegetarian and seafood dishes: our ‘Dining Room’ supper club takes place upstairs above the shop on the first Wednesday of the month.
