The Irish Seaweed Company has been hand harvesting raw, wild Irish Seaweed and supplying to businesses and personal customers locally, nationally and internationally since 2006.
From the well renowned Antrim Coastline on the east coast of Northern Ireland, we sustainably hand harvest a variety of fresh edible seaweed for consumption and home spa bathing.
The Irish Seaweed Company is a small company founded by Gillian Thompson in 2006, and specializes in sustainably harvested seaweeds from the North Antrim Coast. We offer native species of Dulse (Palamaria Palmata), Komba Royale / Sweet Kelp (Laminaria Saccharina), Carrageen Moss (Chondrus Crispus), Wakame (Alaria Esculenta) and
Sea Spaghetti (Himanthalia Elongata).
We mainly sell our products online via our website www.irishseaweed.co.uk . We post dried seaweed to extend the self life and preferred payment method is Paypal.
In addition we also hand pick Serrated Wrack (Fucus Serratus), to enable you to experience a seaweed bath in the comfort of your own home.
